Dia Los Muertos & Mexican Festival

Love Food will be host to a Mexican festival and Dia Los Muertos celebration (day of the dead) on Saturday November 5.

The day demonstrates Lockmeadow’s growth as a venue for a variety of cultural events that celebrate the global foods on offer in Love Food and maintains its reputation as the centre for entertainment in Maidstone.

Earlier this month, Oktoberfest and Black History Month were new events that successfully reached out to wider audiences, we hope that Dia Los Muertos will do the same.

Here’s how the day will look:

1pm – 8.30pm Enjoy Tacos, Nachos, Sangria and Mexican delights with Street Food by Easy Dine.

1pm – 3pm – Face painting with Dia Los Muertos theme

2pm onwards – kids craft bar with colouring, sugar skull decorations and more

6pm – Enjoy an authentic Mariachi band with a glass of Sangria to toast the day
